An applicator to apply aggressive chemicals such as bleach - a sodium hypochlorite (NaClO) solution (commonly used for black spot on concrete) or heavy duty degreaser with a pressure washer. This fits on the end of your spraygun or lance and comes with a 5m chemical suction pipe with filter on the end.

Please note: Never put these aggressive types of chemicals through your pressure washer pump or boiler, as it will significantly reduce the life or damage major components.

The V-TUF CHEMICAL INJECTOR & JET KIT enables you to adjust your chemical dosage and the angle of the spray fan. 

The inlet coupling is the SSQ type which is the same coupling on the SSQ replaceable jets.

USES:

  • Wash and remove mold, dirt, and mildew from various structures without using ladders or scaffolding.
  • Sterilization of housing areas for agricultural needs.
  • Caustic spraying that requires using harsh chemicals that can destroy pumps.
  • Degreasing heavy equipment using pressure soap without going through the pump.

  • C. This is the outlet adjustable spray jet which adjusts the width of the spray by turning the body left or right.

How to calibrate

  1. Check how much water your pressure washer pumps. For example: 12 litres of water per minute.
  2. Please remember the maximum water that is allowed through at 200bar is 23 litres /per minute
  3. We then need to establish how much chemical it will suck through the chemical tube per minute. We do this by putting the chemical pick up in a fixed quantity of water (say 500ml). We then see how long it takes to suck this quantity (some prefer to use a measuring jug to see how much water is sucked in a certain time).
  4. So, for example, if the injector sucks the 500ml in 50 seconds [(500ml divided by 50sec) x 60sec] or 300ml in 30 seconds [300ml x 2 to give us the about in 60sec], we know that 600ml will be sucked in one minute, and our machine is pumping 12 litres of water per minute.
  5. We then know that the ratio is 600ml to 12000ml which is 1:20 (12000ml divided by 600ml)
  6. The chemical mixture is then diluted with water to achieve the ideal ratio, or the variable dosage control is set on the injector.
