Indoor Air Quality 2027 — Regulation Compliant Equipment
Indoor Air Quality 2027 — The Regulatory Framework and the Equipment Specification
Three pieces of legislation are converging to create the UK's first framework of enforceable indoor air quality standards. The UK Indoor Air Quality Strategy, the Environment Act 2021 and Approved Document F (March 2027) together create mandatory measurable standards for air quality in workplaces, social housing and public buildings. HHSRS 2026 Hazard 18 and Awaab's Law Phase 2 (30 November 2026) are already in force. The equipment specification decisions are being made now.
